Do you want to learn more about Reiki and whether it is right for you? Here are some of the most frequently asked questions I get about learning Reiki, to help give you some insight.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese term which translates to “spiritually guided life force energy”. It is a form of energy healing which works with the energy that is present in everything around us. We can interact with this energy in various ways, and when we learn Reiki, we are able to tune our energy into these frequencies in order to channel Reiki for healing.
Reiki can help us to bring in fresh light energy to fill up any empty spaces and increase our overall energetic capacity.
What are the different levels of Reiki?
There are three levels of Reiki training. In Level 1, you learn about self-healing and how to develop a personal Reiki practice. Level 2 focuses on learning to share Reiki with others, distance healing, and working with your spirit guides. Level 3 teaches you to develop mastery of your skills and how to teach Reiki.
Do I have to do anything to prepare for a Reiki course?
No preparation is required. All I ask is that you come with an open mind and be ready to learn.
Can I only take Reiki if I plan on working with others?
No, Reiki is a wonderful gift which you can share with others if you so choose, but it is not mandatory. It is all about developing your own personal practice first.
Who can learn Reiki? Who is this for?
Reiki is suitable for everyone, just like meditation. It is a great way to enhance your meditation practice and promote your own self-healing. It can also help you to develop more positive relationships and interactions.
