As I was creating the content for today’s video marketing mastermind, I decided to include my unique signature to it: how to create your content in an intuitive way. Sharing this process is exciting because it can apply to anything that you want to create.
I decided I wanted to share it with all of you so that you can integrate it into your creative processes too!
The most important thing about creating from your intuition is to get in a state where you are able to clearly listen to your intuitive guidance. We all receive intuitive guidance differently, so it’s important to know how your intuition speaks to you.
When your intuition is guiding you, you may feel a sense of peace about whatever decision you are trying to make. So in the creation process, it’s important to create what gives you a sense of peace and ease. It’s easiest to create in this state, so do something that helps you feel peaceful, whether that’s meditating or taking a walk in nature.
You may have an intuitive knowing, in creation, this looks like knowing exactly what it is that you want to create. Maybe you have a knowing about how the creation process works without ever being taught or differing away from the “normal” way of doing things. With intuitive knowings, it’s important to trust the knowing, it may not always seem rational but you should feel confident and happy about what your knowing is guiding you to do within the creative process.
Another way your intuition can speak to you is through gentle (or sometimes not so gentle) nudging. You may have the same thing come up over and over again pulling you towards it. When creating, a good way to track this guidance is to create a note in your phone or journal and write down every idea that comes to mind. If the same thing keeps coming up over and over again, it’s time to take action!
We can also be guided through our mind’s eye. In the intuitive creation process, it can help to visualize what it is that you want to create. You could see something that stands out to you or have a dream that is very vivid. When creating, close your eyes and see if you can allow the creation to take form within your mind.
There are so many more ways that our intuition guides us, to learn more about how your intuition guides you check out this article on the psychic senses and look up your authority in human design. You can also book a 1:1 session with me where we’ll dive into this further.
Once you know how your intuition guides you, you can start to implement the intuitive creative process. It’s quite a simple concept, be patient because implementing it takes A LOT of practice.
You can intuitively create anything with this simple 3 step process:
1. Start with an alignment process. Being in alignment, in this case, means bringing yourself into balance so that you have clarity about your creative process. There are tons of ways that you can do this and you may already have a strategy that helps you do this. If you need ideas, you can meditate, journal, or take a walk to get yourself into creation mode.
If you’re struggling to find balance and gain clarity it generally means that you aren’t doing enough for yourself, meditate longer, spend more time outdoors, really take time for yourself. Another option is to walk away from trying for a little bit and then come back to it later when you’re in a better state of mind. However, it’s important to address the struggle if it goes on too long and get to the root of the struggle so that you can get into alignment with just a few minutes of mindful meditation.
2. Once you find alignment, tune into the energy you want to embody in your creation. How do you want to feel when you are creating? How do you want others to feel when they experience your creation? See if you can tune into your intuition through your senses and notice how your intuition is guiding you.
3. Allow your creative process to flow through you. Take whatever arises intuitively and start creating! Write, talk, or make art. When you first start to access your intuitive creative process, what you create may not be perfect at first. The trick is to practice and stretch your intuitive creative muscles!
