Ready to Grow? It’s Time to Face Your ‘Shit’!

Do you want to gain a deeper understanding of your inner self? Do you feel as though certain aspects of yourself, such as hurt, anger, or fear, keep resurfacing? 🤔

If so, you’re not alone. Let me guide you on how to go from unconsciously repeating patterns to consciously and bravely confronting your shadows. I’ll provide practical tools that can be used in your daily life to help you recognize your inherent power.

In my recent intuitive healing sessions, a powerful theme emerged: the necessity of facing our “shit” 💩 with compassion ❤️ and courage 💪.

I’m so proud of my clients that choose to take this journey to uncover the hidden treasures within themselves, knowing that beneath the surface lies a wealth of wisdom and growth waiting to be unearthed.

My clients have embarked on a journey of acceptance, embracing every aspect of their being, including the challenges that come with it. From navigating chronic illness and persistent pain to coming to terms with outcomes that may not align with their expectations, they’ve shown incredible resilience and bravery.

Whether it’s past traumas, limiting beliefs, or suppressed emotions, these shadows often lurk beneath the surface, affecting our lives in subtle yet profound ways.

Facing Your ‘Shit’

But here’s the thing: facing these shadows is not just about dredging up old wounds. It’s about reclaiming your power, embracing your authenticity, and stepping into a life of true freedom and fulfillment.

As you begin tuning in to the whispers of your own body, and honor the messages it sends you in each moment, you start to cultivate a deeper connection with yourself. Instead of being stuck on an endless up and down rollercoaster ride of emotions-grappling with feelings of guilt, fear, and sadness, you begin to dance with the rhythms of life and start experiencing more moments of profound joy and gratitude.

With these tools, you’ll find the courage to speak your truth and release the burdens you’ve been carrying for far too long. You’ll have the space to speak to the things that weigh heavy on your heart and forgive yourself and others.

I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of confronting our inner demons. Its amazing to see the freedom that comes with letting go of old wounds and embracing a mindset of compassion and understanding.

Of course, it’s not always easy. Yes, you’ll face moments of self-doubt and criticism along the way, and sometimes it gets rough before it gets better, but it’s about recognizing those moments for what they are—opportunities for growth and self-discovery. When we shine a light on our shadows, we reclaim lost parts of ourselves and open the door to healing on a deep and profound level.

5 Steps to Kickstart Your Journey of Self-Discovery and Healing

So, how can you begin this journey of self-discovery and healing? Here are a few suggestions:

  1. Practice: Begin using the tools you already know in your everyday life right now. Instead of reserving a specific time and place for activities like meditation, incorporate them into your daily routine. For instance, I frequently use Reiki in my day-to-day life, rarely setting aside specific time for practice. Instead, I incorporate it where applicable, live by its principles, and apply its teachings to my daily interactions and decisions. This constant use results in a deeper transformation and alignment with my authentic self.
  2. Embrace the Power of Conscious Choices: Our lives present us with an infinite array of options and possibilities at every turn. Each decision we make, each path we choose to follow, shapes the course of our personal journey. But remember, how you engage with these options is entirely in your hands. You can choose to confront these possibilities head-on, or you might decide to take a step back and explore different paths. There’s also the choice of not acknowledging these options, to remain in the comfort of familiar patterns – remember, that’s a choice too. Even when you decide not to make a choice, when you let circumstances dictate your direction, that in itself is a choice. Every decision, or lack thereof, carries with it a ripple of consequences that alter the course of our lives. This understanding is empowering, it underscores the importance of conscious decision-making in shaping our experiences and our journey to healing and self-discovery.
  3. Take Ownership: The concept of ownership extends beyond the physical boundaries of what we possess. It infiltrates our experiences, our environment, and even the people around us. If something exists within your personal or professional experience, if it is reflected in the results you produce at work, in the dynamics of your team, or in the harmony of your family; if it is present in the person who sleeps in the bed next to you, then, in a very real sense, it resides within you. Ownership isn’t just about claiming what’s yours, it’s about taking full responsibility for yourself, your results, and your experiences. It’s about owning both your triumphs and your failures, your joys and your challenges. And it’s not just about you – it’s about giving others the space and the freedom to take ownership of their experiences and their results as well. Only by recognizing and accepting ownership can we truly be in control of our lives and our futures.
  4. Recognize Equality: We are all interconnected, part of a larger whole. This implies our inherent equality. What applies to me, holds true for you as well, and the reverse is equally valid. This principle of reciprocity should be a constant in our interactions. Recognizing our shared humanity fosters empathy, understanding, and respect for individual experiences while contributing towards a more harmonious coexistence. So, let us remind ourselves that every action, every thought, and every word carries weight, shaping not only our personal narrative but also the world around us. Let’s strive to uphold this principle of equality in all aspects of our lives.
  5. Live in the Present: It’s imperative to understand that the only moment we can truly live and act in is the present. While the past and the future certainly have their roles in our lives, they fundamentally remain as constructs of time, created by societal perception. The past is a repository of our memories and experiences, and the future is but a canvas of our hopes and anticipations. However, neither of them holds the tangible reality that the present does. The past has passed and the future is yet to come, leaving us with the present moment as the only reality we can genuinely experience and influence. By living in the present, we can fully engage with our lives, make conscious choices, and actively shape our own path.
